Restorative Afternoon in Brower Park (Brooklyn)

Sowing Wildflowers invites Black folks who have survived gendered and state violence to join us for a restorative afternoon at Brower Park!

On Saturday, July 30th, join us from 3-7pm as we create space for us to connect with each other and engage in healing activities. We will be led through a self-massage workshop and a beginner-friendly yoga flow. Tarot reading slots will also be available throughout the event.

Food and water will be available at 3pm when the event begins, so we encourage folks to come early to eat before the activities begin. Also, please bring a blanket to sit on if you can! Get a ticket by registering here.

*Please note the location change to Brower Park across from 1046 Park Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11213*

We want to give each other flowers, figuratively and literally, while we can still smell them! That's why we launched our Sowing Wildflowers Care Package Campaign! Through this initiative grounded in healing justice values, we hope to provide items that inspire joy, reflection, and aid survivors on their healing journeys. Care packages will include treats from some of our favorite Black makers and authors.

🌸 If you are a Black survivor and you want to receive a care package at this event, you can request one here

🌼 Do you know a Black survivor that would love a care package? Share the link with them!
